About Chanice Pfau

Chanice Pfau is a Student-at-Law in our Edmonton office. She obtained her Bachelor of Communication Studies, majoring in Professional Communication from MacEwan University in 2018 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2023. While in law school, Chanice volunteered with Student Legal Services in both the Civil and Criminal divisions, as well as the Trans ID Clinic.

In her Mental Health and the Law class, Chanice received the opportunity to attend Mental Health Court to assist Duty Counsel, and learned about trauma-informed, compassionate lawyering. She strives to embody this approach in her interactions with clients, who are often dealing with significant personal hardship in family law matters.

In her spare time, Chanice enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading anything with a good plot, exercising, and spoiling her two cats.
