About Alayna Astle

Alayna was born and raised in Edmonton. She is a Senior Family Law Paralegal practicing in Alberta and British Columbia.

She has been working as a paralegal for approximately 20 years.  She has explored a variety of areas of law from real estate, corporate, commercial, Wills and Estates litigation, civil litigation, and criminal, but her expertise is in family law. 

Outside of the office, Alayna spends her time with her fur kids, Tora and Brooklyn, the sweetest little pittie girls you’ll ever meet as well as her cats, Oscar and Larry.  You will often find her fostering an extra cat (or 4) whenever she’s able.

Alayna is the President of a very busy animal rescue, Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue Society, which was incorporated as a registered charity in 2012.  Since that time, her and her team have rescued thousands of dogs and cats, and even a couple turtles and rabbits.  Hope Lives Here is her true passion and what feeds her soul.
